Around the Lujan house

Here are just a couple of random shots from our house on regular ol' days.

Ryann is a great helper with the laundry!

Here are the kids having a snack.

...and an unwanted visitor (yes, that's a black widow). Luckily Grammie had a shoe to get rid of this gal! We also had the exterminator out the next day!

Thanksgiving 2007

For Thanksgiving, we made a road trip to San Antonio to visit Lance's side of the family. There were about 22 people at Uncle Skip & Aunt Donna's house, which included 4 generations of Osborn's!
Here NiNi and Eli are looking at old photos.

When we pulled into San Antonio, Eli came down with a fever, so to have him pose for photos was a task! Below are Lance's cousins kids...

...and Eli.

Ryann seemed to really enjoy herself. Here she is taking pictures like her mommy.NiNi let Ryann borrow a pair of clip-on earrings. Ryann loved them and literally wore them ALL day!

Road trips aren't very easy with all 4 of us in a small hotel room, but all in all we had a good trip!

Halloween

Eli, Ryann and neighbor Landon.

Zoie, Ryann & Eli.

Pumpkin Carving

Lujan's bakery

We made Halloween cookies!!
Everyone really enjoyed the flour!!
Eli loved the Black Cats.
Ryann let out a lot of frustration with the cookie cutter! I really felt bad for that dough once she was done.

Zoie took great care in frosting her cookie!Ryann enjoyed eating the frosting too!

Outdoor Fun!

Here we are at a park that has a great nature trail throughout. Eli calls it the forest and loves to go run around and read the "messages" (info plates) and look at all of the trees that have fallen.

Here are a couple of cute pictures we took at the "sand park" (as titled by Eli due to a sandbox by the slide). Zoie and Ryann love to hold hands and they just talk and talk. It's so cute!

You can't see it very well here, but we were walking along the path and Grammie spotted a tarantula! I couldn't resist posting because I've never seen one outside of a glass box!

State Fair 2007

We had a successful visit to the State Fair of Texas! This year was very fun as Eli is big enough to ride the kiddie rides and play games. Our camera went haywire and deleted all of our pictures, but Aunt Niffer and Uncle O took pictures as well and shared them with us!

Here we are at a little Harvest Scene where we take a photo every year! It's amazing to look a the transformation of the family!

Here's Grammie with the Grandkids!

This is Big Tex... a very big, speaking Texan. Eli wasn't too hot for this guy and held his hands to his ears when we were close. By the end of the day, we could get him to sit for a couple of seconds for a picture. He's trying to slide down Lance's leg in this pic!
Zoie and Eli had a great time riding rides together! They just giggled the whole time.
Here we are on a roller coaster!! Ryann and Lance were behind us before the ride started, but she proceed to yell "NO!", so they didn't go. She wasn't too hip on the rides.
Races on the big slide!! Lance and Eli won by just a small margin.

We also got to see a ton of animals (giraffe, ostrich, piglets, donkeys, and more), and played lots of games. These things will just have to linger in our memories! I do like technology, but boy losing those pictures was a downer.

Eli's first soccer practice

Eli's suited up and ready to go!

Here he is hopping over cones.

...and helping pick them up.

This is the "hop over swim floaties" drill.

He did a great job, but did get hot & tired, so we left while they were kicking the balls in the goal. He did great and we're looking forward to him playing at Princeton (hint, hint Arrron)!

Ryann at work

Ryann likes to mimic mommy & daddy while working in the office.

Ryann in pigtails from school

Ryann's teachers like to put all of the little girls' hair in pigtails. Ryann actually does quite well with them although she does sometimes tug at them. The best is when she won't sit still to get the rubberbands out...

We're up and running!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our Blogspot! It has taken a while for us to get this up and running, but we're hoping to keep it updated. As you can tell, it's difficult for Eli to pose for pictures (ha-ha), so hopefully we'll have lots of fun stuff to share.
